Reminds me of the film "Long Journey Home" from 1987, which denotes how many have exited, but take a long journey home to the Appalachian mountains they left behind to reconnect frequently, despite the trouble of driving from Chicago and back for only a weekend- all to hopefully have a more "successful" life.
