Lots of little things I’m noticing so far:
1. The dialogue is pretty awkward. The first conversation between Lottie and her mom felt like it was only there to tell the reader everything.
2. I think Jade and her father are supposed to be American, but they sound British when they talk at times.
3. The foreshadowing is very heavy handed.
4. The descriptions are overdone.
