Sarah is now fighting for her life, and that of her husband and children. They are on the run, with some help from friends ,while also betrayed by others.

Sarah is a remarkable woman for her time period. I have read about women pirates, but not much on wives of pirates and buccaneers. I felt sympathy for the men and wives, because of the treatment sailors had to endure. Cruelty, depravation, little or no pay, health issues, and early deaths were all a part of their lives. Buccaneers and pirates were used and misused by political figures, to further their interests.
