Status Updates From Midnight's Children

I’ve been trying to get through this for weeks & with only 70 pages to go I just don’t know if I can do it? The premise is interesting and certainly there are points that I’ve enjoyed, but most of the time it feels like an exercise in free writing and imagination. Also the narrator is so unlikeable- this messianic sense of self is obvs deliberate but urgh. Also the casual, constant misogyny. Might finish it one day
