I have suspected for a while that perhaps this was the afterlife and everyone was really dead. I believe that humanity killed earth and are now being judged in the afterlife. Our main character is going to be given a second chance to start a new earth or new humanity or something perhaps?

Can’t get Daniel Handler AKA Lemony Snicket out of my head, who after researching I discovered was heavily influenced by Joy’s writing… Cool ^_^

Vegan ass narrative

So far I am loving her writing. Loving the POV of a child in a not so distant future where we have finally destroyed the natural environment. Instead of trying to reverse it, those in control are going full-tilt into making the entire world synthetic.
