Although the start of this chunk of chapters had to do with Vivian being uncertain about them working out, good things started happening— she ended up meeting his family and started to stand up for herself and I feel that she started appreciating mel and his approach to life. They are opening about their issues now and it’s nice to see them fall into eachothers way of being. Although Ido wish she trusted himmore

Mel visited her for the weekend & YAS I love when they’re together but at the same time damn they’re FREAKS. Anyways She got really sick and so their weekend consisted of him taking lots of good care for her. I found it so intimate and loving, and yet she hated it simply bc she’s never been used to that and she felt like a burden. NOW SHE FEELS LIKE THIS RELATIONSHIP WONT LAST NOOO PLS DONT SELF SABOTAGE I BEG

They told eachothers families about eachother, it’s fun to see the parallels between the families reactions, they both didn’t believe they would be dating someone. Anyway right now they are doing a long distance relationship and a lot of their interactions are through messages. Some of it is sweet, but I wish she was not dry! Ik it’s her personality but GIRL MORE INTERESTING HES LITERALLY CARRYING THESE CONVOS

The books okay.. not bad, has interesting moments here and there and then it gets boring. I’m only on page 129 so I know they like eachother, they have a lot of tension, but I just feel like they’re edging the reader into loving them as a couple and then not # I’m too impatient for a slow burn
