Status Updates From The Genesis of Misery

a frustrating read. a bunch of shiny parts, an interesting premise, some lovely world building. and it never comes together and sticks the landing. it feels like a severe lack of editing- the fact that it's littered with typos, and the wrong names in the wrong places. it just feels like a first draft. this is my first book by this author- it was wonderful to see so much queerness in the characters and world build.
