Summary: The summary of this book is Hugo the kid is trying to make his invention. He was in need of parts that he didn't have and stole and did some bad things. This all led to Hugo being able to start his work and got into some troubles but still got a lot of progress. He got chased lots of times like the time when he sneaked into the clock tower which he got caught in. His dad made a couple different things also.
