We've known for X many pages who a person is, but they're redefined (and mentioned using their whole name and title) every time they're brought up. Or objects. Or Jessica's home address. The author doesn't assume smart readers that track these details and don't need constant reminders. Oh, and Harry's "little lady" comment is so overused, I'm sick.
