For someone who has been raped and abused, I would have expected Blade's actions and words to have triggered flash backs, bad memories and panic attacks despite how determined Kelly is to prove to herself that she can take what he gives. It's pretty unrealistic thus far.

On a side note, he took back her safe word for a scene. That's a huge fucking no for me.

“Where are we going?”

When he raised a brow, she flushed.

“Sorry. I forgot.”

“That’s okay, love. I’ll teach you to remember.”

His lips twitched when she bit her lip anxiously.

“As for where we’re going,” with a hand at her back, he led her from the room. “We’re going upstairs. You’re going to strip and be restrained. It’s time for me to inspect what now belongs to me."

Now I remember why I don't care for the Dom/sub story!
