Raymond Carver, "Cathedral:" I didn't like this story. I understood what the author was trying to get across, but I fell the author is a "try hard:" trying to be profound, trying to be like Hemmingway. Comes across as not very authentic.

I read the majority of this in class and since I paid for it, I’m going to read the rest of the chapters too gosh darn it
