Status Updates From Hired to Protect (Hired #2)

Holy moly. This book is graphic and violent in a way that’s not fun the way a Jason Statham movie is fun.

The ex is a total whackadoo.

I do agree with the trigger warning being shade of grey than true dark, but still darker than I expected given the first book but that was so long ago I’ve forgotten what I’d read. Some of the things that the ex does after kidnapping (not a spoiler, it’s in the blurb) is very unhinged and extreme, so let’s call it a shade of charcoal grey.

Had to stop for a breather. This is turning out to be a lot darker than I expected. Mind you with a stalker ex, I wasn’t expecting light and fluffy, but I was not expecting how unhinged the ex is. Oof.
