So much is happening. So much keeps going on and I just keep getting more and more excited.

Well, crying while playing Tekken is a first. The ending of this audiobook was a bit heartbreaking.

Lol, the audiobook narrator is so dramatic.

"AYLETH THREW! THE! SPEAR!"

Okay, not a fan of the sudden fat phobia.

Lol, why do I get the feeling that the romance is kind of an afterthought of the author? Kind of like she doesn't really care for it much herself, but the editor said it would boost sales or something, haha. It isn't bad, just so minimal I'm not sure what it's doing there sometimes. And it's always at the beginning of the book, then it's forgotten, in favor of the action and... Actual plot.

Okay, suddenly having a chapter where the story is narrated from the view of the "villain" kind of takes the tension away from the plot. Not sure if this is a good move. I kind of wish the author had stuck with telling the story strictly from Ayleth's perspective, as she (mostly) did in the first book. Now we're seeing the story from many characters views, and I'm not sure this was the smartest way to do it...

Okay, I have no idea what's going on, hahaha. Thrown straight into the action, and not fully focused. Where are we? What's happening? Is this important?? 😂
