Status Updates From Our Wives Under the Sea

I’m 100 pages in and it’s starting to feel like a slog. The prose is lyrical and lovely, but nothing is actually happening and I do feel the absence of a plot. Reads a bit like a friend’s very long text describing a dream they had.

love it. the pov of present day vs. miri’s grieving memory of who leah once was. the pov of leah as we slowly uncover what happens to her in the depths of the sea. great descriptions and lyrical imagery
