“Summer Souls” was meh. “Reliquary of the Damned” on the other hand, had a very interesting idea and exploring it further might be fun.

“The Quiet” was another good one, exploring pain and its absence or existence was interesting.

“Thicker Than Water” was easily the best one so far. Interesting, engaging and somewhat makes me want to read the series where this world is set.

“Death in Uncanny Valley” heavily reminded me of Sword Art Online, and while not that fun, was still a step up from many of the others.

Length is a huge factor seemingly.

Forgot to add my thoughts: “Twice Domesticated Dragons” As an idea, this is very interesting. But the modernisation of it feels very out of place that it lowers the enjoyment a bit.

“The Witch in the Woods” was probably the one I enjoyed the most so far, and also very bittersweet. “Thief” was also not bad, though suffers from modernisation again.

“A Matter of Trust” was just awful to read, zero earned redemption and continuously making the same mistakes. Disgusting mind to be in.

“A Recurrence of Jasmine”” was better, though still not engaging at all either.

1/4 were enjoyable which is not a good ratio.

First story “Lullaby” was meh. Somber mood for good reason, but none of the characters were compelling enough for me to care.

“Skies on Fire” on the other hand was good, and very interesting as a world despite how short it actually was.
