I personally think instead of this being on the Banned or Challenged list it should be a part of required reading... understanding how someone comes to terms with their sexuality, how people feel the need to voice their negative opinions, and the negative consequences (like self harm) the person questioning themselves... is how we enforce change.
This book is so moving and an inspiration.
