proud of ichimura for outright admitting that he’s jealous but i fear he needs to use more words than that to really show yoi the depth of his feelings!! his character is so interesting though, i love seeing his walls go up when he’s scared or insecure cause it’s so obvious that that’s what he’s doing. he’s SO avoidant and i’m sure it comes from his distant familial situation

okay. idk if this manga is REALLY interested in exploring non-binary gender expressions but there’s something about ohji focusing SO much on yoi being a girl here that makes me feel icky. especially with that flashback to ichimura calling her “incredibly beautiful” with no gender attachment whatsoever. he’s the only one who seems to encourage yoi’s gray area rather than shoving her into either binary

ichimura could very easily be just an annoyingly cocky mmc who the author expects you to give a pass cause he’s hot, but these moments when yoi reciprocates even in the SMALLEST ways and he fully reboots and then bursts into the biggest smile????????? it really reframes his bravado as a protective layer. literally all she did was WAVE AT HIM and his brain did a hard reset

their coy insecure flirting is SO adorable, i love going back and forth and seeing their reactions cause it’s so obvious that they’re both incredibly down bad and nervous and overthinking every little thing

rival love interest i have zero patience for you tbh also you look like you could be yoi’s brother

ew okay i really don’t like yoi’s friends!! wtf is their problem and why do they keep talking about her gender expression like she’s not RIGHT THERE????? surely if they actually cared about her, they’d ask her how she was feeling about all this rather than just commenting on her “princeliness”. at least yoi acknowledges that it’s gross!! i hope she calls them out at some point

I LOVE SEEING THEM BOTH BE NERVOUS WRECKS AFTER AN INTERACTION LIKE THIS!!!!!! it's SO endearing oh my god. and that shirt grab??????? was insane. the fucking LOOK on ichimura's face, he didn't dare move even for a few seconds after she ran away. they're both so inexplicably drawn to each other and i am loving this tension in the buildup

more of ichimura being bold, waiting for yoi to react to said boldness, and then backpedaling with an excuse. he really is so confident and yet so insecure at the same time

Ayy ese último capítulo, lo terminé hoy. Por suerte, Oji le generó celos a Ichimura y no se por qué me sorprende que lo haya admitido así de la nada. Hubo ahí una escena pequeña de interés real de Oji a Yoi, y sigo diciendo que lo prefiero de amigo, pero ya me cae bien. Los amigos de Ichimura son unos genios js el verdadero amigo date cuenta. Ya quiero leer ese festival y ver a Yoi de yukata.

Se nota que hay un lore ahí en la familia de Ichimura, más que nada respecto a su padre que "está en el extranjero". Me gustaría saber más sobre eso aunque ya tengo mis sospechas de por qué se independizó tan joven. Amo la naturalidad, a pesar de los nervios, con la que se toman la mano ahora que ya lo probaron. Son tan lindos lpm se viene un festival con yukatas? Cita?

Oji, efectivamente, terminó siendo un compañero de laburo de Yoi y espero que buen amigo en el futuro, porque siento que es del tipo de príncipe más amigable y honesto, espero que no sea un second male lead pero sí acepto que le dé celos al otro príncipe je (qué bueno que está el padre de Yoi lpm, llegar a la edad de leer shojos para fijarme en los padres de los protagonistas y no en ellos)

Ayy por qué se están evitando de nuevo? Lpm. Todo por ese casi beso. Pero me gusta que así como deciden evitarse, deciden volver a contactarse, y esa timidez y el "lo saludo o no" me encanta. Ese Oji no sé quién es pero espero que sea alguien que aporte para bien como personaje o que acelere las cosas ahora que va a estar trabajando para el padre de la prota.

Cómo extrañaba estos personajes y esta historia tan juvenil y refrescante! Era obvio que no iba a pasar nada con lo del supuesto beso, pero me deja chillando que ella sí quería que sucediera y ahora él también lo sabe. Me encanta que se tomaran la mano aunque todavía no estén seguros de a dónde está yendo lo que están sintiendo por el otro. Amo a Ichimura todo vergonzoso y cómo no le importa lo que piensen de ellos
