Tae is an idiot. Every time I think, maybe I can let some of this hate for go, she proceeds to do something to feed the flames. Incredible, really.

More chapters without Tae and with Colt and his brothers interacting, please! These are the best parts of the book.

Oh my gosh, Tae! This has nothing to do with being brave! How can Colt's low self-esteem, from blaming himself for his mother's death since he was six, add depth and nuance to his character while Tae's consistently makes me hate her more than I already do!? "Waaah! I'm no hero. I'm not brave." She consistently has these thoughts at the worst times for me to see it as anything but self-pity.

I understand that Mrs. Warren had Tae be a dumbass in the first chapter so the plot could happen, but I still haven't forgotten or forgiven. I hate Tae. You deserve better, Colt. I wish you were spending time with your brothers and dad instead.
