Status Updates From Vigor Mortis: Book 2

These books are so fun and silly, I actually laugh out loud at some of these stupid puns and jokes

I think its trying too hard? It reminds me of Gideon the Ninth to Nona and, honestly, that trilogy was way darker and more brutal with its setting and people than vigor, yet it was also charming and sad and tragic and... exhilarating.

This book feels like it's trying to build to something but it continuously stumbles with the POV, its philosophical musings and the way its trying to characterize monsters.

Well, that went pearshaped. I wish I felt anything more than "man, this got grim, how cute".

Its kind of a left down from the last book.

Im kind of bored right now. Also I put the number of pages instead of the percentage of the audio. Oops

Okay, its a step down from the previous book but it still entertaining. But holy shit this looks so much like a web serial with all the multiple plots and it doesn't help the constant POV with lark
