It’s gonna have to be a DNF.. FOR NOW… I very well may come back to see the outcome but this is really not page turner for me. It’s my birthday goddammit. I should be in the middle of a book I cannot put down.

I’m not sold on the story. The love and loyalty Sam is displaying for an education institution that has such a troubled history. Yes, it has come a long way in the present tense of the book but there’s so many members of that board alone that represent the historical ties. The teachers are mostly useless but the students are worth fighting for, I guess. I’m a fan of Madelene Nox tho!
