Status Updates From Bem mal me quer

at some point it really annoyed me in the second half when some bits of the romance was revealed... it kinda saved itself with the last chapter(s?)
but it still really pissed me off for a few moments at least

I only have 3 chapters left and I want to finish it today but I'm sleepy again :D
The atmosphere and vibe were cool and gothic and all that but the mystery part isn't that intriguing and the characters aren't that deep :((
The idea is cool though, I haven't read many books like this and it was kind of a nice change

the beginning was good and i want to see where it'd go but it has some words that i don't know and have to look up so i can't read it effortlessly
the spider lady's logic for finding the culprit is kinda weird... like it could be anyone ma'am, let the poor girl go

I grabbed this book from a cafe because I saw the words "sapphic" and "gothic fantasy". I was not expecting to meet an enormous tarantula wearing the face of a human woman, but hey, there's no going back now!
