LOVE this protagonist. First time I can honestly say I’ve seen this kind of brusque, stoic, self- serving female character. She has just as much interiority as anyone else but she smokes and drinks constantly, works for a gang, pushes people around and gets into fights. More mean women please

So far I’m liking it a lot. It’s a very easy read and hard to put aside.
