the Netflix anime tried to fix some of the issues with the plot and dialogue of this manga while still managing to be a more source accurate adaptation than the earlier movie. This has made me appreciate the show a lot more than I already did, which in turn makes me like the book more also

Is it just me, or is this Mask arc going on forever?

Glad I'm getting to see a lot more of the twins(Hatsuho and Kagaho) here. Also, Somei Yoshino was introduced at the very beginning, and is it just me or is she a lot taller in the manga?

So far, most of the changes made to the anime adaptation made it a superior version of this story IMO. Since we won't be getting any more of the anime anytime soon, I'll just have to make due with reading the manga to quench my thirst.

Loved the recent Netflix adaptation of this book and went to see the earlier 90"s movie adaptation right after. Been wanting to read this for a while now but I was holding back cause I thought I'd hate the art, but boy was I wrong.

Already noticing some differences between both medium, and I can't wait to get to the parts that weren't adapted in the Netflix anime
