I feel myself tearing up reading the beginning of this story. She talks about her grief, yet this man who brought it upon her still lives. I get that. Something inside you dies. It’s been years and something is still dead; because of him, because of him who made a promise… but broke it

need to give another update just to say i hate when an author tells us a character is very smart only to have them make the dumbest decisions ever

straight up no longer having a good time

im not having fun anymore... but its still better than the bridgerton books

the duke has not done an appropriate amount of groveling for my liking

only 35% in but i can already tell this book is too long
