It was interesting learning about the military. The case took up so much of the book, yet was hastily resolved, most of it taking place off-page. I didn't like that the entire book involved the case, w/ very little down time. Things were confusing at times, w/ lots of military terms unexplained. The epilogue could have been much better & needed a wrap-up with all the characters, considering this is the final book.

It seems these heroes are all the same. There's been some OW crap, but not as bad as the other book in this series I read, & I hope to God it stays that way. The dialogue is a bit rambling at times, & full of military terms. It has a factual feel & can be dry at times. Also confusing how a character's dialogue & action will be on different lines. It's too similar to the other book, but this plot isn't as good.

Aug 19 It stayed the same. There's really not much to say. The ending wasn't what I expected or wanted. It was cheesy and barely wrapped up the case at all.

Aug 18 Can't believe I have to read this another day. So, so much of the case and so little romance. It was a complete joke and such a colossal disappointment. I can't believe the duration of things with no closure. Feels like being strung along with no payout.

Aug 17 It is still so much military and facts and info that any time there is a little bit of romance it is so out of place. I can't believe it's gone so long without, this is romantic suspense if ever I've read it.

Aug 16 The plot is taking too long. It's so dragged out and boring. Idl the progress between them. Too much about his past and it's pissing me off. It's like 95% military and 5% romance.

Aug 15 I've been put through the ringer with other woman drama, one after another coming onto him but thankfully he hasn't gone thru with it. Don't like the heroine at all and don't like him much better. A wealth of knowledge on military lingo and lifestyle and most if the writing is creative, insightful, craftily worded and/or funny.
