Status Updates From A Quitter's Paradise

A few reviews of the book by people who've finished it primarily critique is the lack of depth of the main character and her poor choices. So far, I find the book to be an incredibly accurate experience of abuse and it doesn't surprise me that the abused character fails to fully develop. I think this is intentional, and a common experience for those who've pruned themselves for parental acceptance.
