Status Updates From High John the Conquerer

It's a slog to read through. There's so much non-essential dialogue. I'm skimming cause most of it is either repetitive or unnecessary.

So far, I'm more impressed by how much fluff the author has put in the prose than the actual narrative.

Christ alive this book is 85% monologue. It's word slurry. The exposition has cancerous tumours comprised of more exposition. Somebody take the thesaurus away from Tariq he's hitting it harder than Willie Nelson ever managed to hit the bong.
