Unusually for me I’m giving this 5 stars but I’m only half way through. It is amazingly accurate. Sharon Blackie completely sees me and is speaking directly to me, in a world focused on women remaining young and beautiful, a book for women as they transition to older years, to be seen in a world that does not see them.

Book club book and I’m reading at a snail’s pace and dreading the anti trans chapter I’ve hear about. I was hoping she’d actually be talking about mythology at least. Nothing yet… any comparison to “Women Who Run With Wolves” is NOT accurate.
