Chapter 5 done. Heading into the kaiketsuhen.... perhaps.

By the end of this book I'll be convinced I am a character that Seiryouin Ryuusui has written.

Book is monumentally slow but it really uses that time to follow every character as they experience the case. It's not the easiest writing style to absorb for long periods of time, but its quite rewarding. That said, crazy that I am only halfway through, I feel like I've been reading this book for years.

Chapter 3 finished

Finished chapter 2. Things are moving very slowly but I'm excited to see where they go. Fucker just had to kill off the one character I was kinda enjoying tho

Also "For a Magnificent Downfall" is 100% a Labyrinth House reference. It is, right? It's gotta be! It can't not be.

Also also I swear to god stop bringing up Kasai I take psychic damage every time it happens.

Prologue done, onto chapter one.

He did it again, I'm fucking speechless, I'm actually flabbergasted, I'm dumbfounded and astonished.

What a fucking book, I can't fucking believe it.

I'll take my time to write a review, what the fuck did I just read.

What the fuck? I'm actually sending Ryuusui a pipebomb all the way over to Japan.

Will probably read the last bit tomorrow while I think about ways to track down where the author lives.

There are a lot of typos, should've reread before posting, my bad.

The solution of Cosmic made me want to destroy the book unironically, I already have a solid theory of the solution of this book, if it's even closely correct I swear I don't know what I'll do over how mad I'll be. (Because of how clever it would be)

I'm pretty sure this is equivalent to 400~ pages of the print version.
Fucking crazy how it hasn't felt like it, there's just so much shit and so many things happening that the pages just fly by.
The mystery is eating my life away, there's so many shit to theorize with. The real answer better be great Ryuusui, or else... (I'll desintrgtate the book by throwing it at a wall)

Still amazing.

The times where Ryuusui just chooses to fuck with the reader make me mald so bad, it's so fun.

Read like 110 pages in a sitting (considering I'm a slow reader in Japanese and I was also taking notes this was wild)

Ryuusui is a master at writing, the man knows how to write a fucking hype train of mystery, it's just nonstop greatness. It's so much fun. I can definitely say that JDC (name of the series) is better than sex.

Read up to chapter 6. The structure is massively different than Cosmic, I'm loving it.

The plan is the read it alongside Hiki, I was gonna just buy the kindle version but holy shit, it's just as expensive as the print ver.

I'm quite sure I can get an used copy for cheaper than that. I'll read whatever the kindle trial has and then see if I can get my hands on a print copy.
