Callie had a crush on Tanner in high school but she was invisible nerd girl who got hired to write papers for the jocks to help them pass. He never even noticed her. Now she is grown up, gorgeous and still smart but still has a bit of a crush. She meets and gets along great with his son and hires him to try to keep her grandmother from stirring up too much trouble.

Enjoyable small town romance with other characters from the series making appearances. Tanner is former SEAL and diver who was injured and now working with his friends running charter boats. He is divorced and trying to reconnect with his 15 yr old son after being gone most of the boys life. Callie is back in town where she grew up to evaluate her grandmother, Lucille who is a wild senior citizen.
