Over the summer Esme and her best friend Kayla became CIT at Camp Pine Lake. They were once campers there when the were nine years old. Apparently they did something terrible and they are hoping no one will ever find out. I think it has to do with a fire because in this quote it says, "Didn't something happen over there, past our site. I over heard someone said it was a fire"(Preston 35).
