Ah Lawd.... 😩 I came for an unusual plot, and I'm leaving with a coma... I tried, though! I really did, but my braincells kept quietly tapping out every few pages. There's a difference between slow-burn and no-burn, and unfortunately, this one just fizzles. Life’s too short for this literary purgatory. Next.

This book reads like a fantasy novel (Wind in the Willows). Part One seemed as if the ending was rushed - as if the author just got tired of writing at this point.
The narrator will sometimes differentiate between character voices, but most of the time not. He's not a monotone reader, but his cadence quickly becomes predictable.
