Starting to understand a little better. There are 3 groups.

Isaac and his group on the island when the original gladers escaped too.

There is a group that is with something called the Godhead. Not sure what that is.

Then there is Minho with the Remnant nation (whatever that is) but he is an orphan. Somehow they know about the original gladers though because he is named after the legendary runner. Connecting dots.

I’m pretty lost so far.

Not what I expected. Alaska is the last place I’d want to be at the end of the world. It appears that Thomas, Minho, and the original gladers were here but this civilization does not resemble their philosophy at all.

Not for me. It reads like a bad movie and the actors are worse. This writer also likes to talk a lot about poop and vomit. So weird.
