It’s finally getting more interesting. The title didn’t lie… this one has definitely been a slow burn.

Great news this week. The finalists for the Contemporary Romance Stiletto Awards were announced, and this book is one of them! Writing is such a solitary thing to do. The characters--their whole world--is entirely in your own head (obvy), so it is delightful to realize other people enjoyed being in that world for a few hours.

Ah, I love tropes. I heard a new one this week: grumpy/sunshine. It was said to be rare to find the heroine as the grump and the hero as the sunshine, but I think this is it, right here! :)
