The big secret at the end turned out to be that Matthew was an indentured servant who took the fall for a theft he didn't commit and he faked his identity. He almost died but he escaped. The romance between Daisy and Matthew felt very refreshing since they both wanted each other from the beginning and Daisy put the moves on Matthew chasing him instead. Evie is alluded to be pregnant at the end. HEAs for everyone!

Daisy is my favorite Wallflower! I love her quirkiness and she's a girl who is unapologetically herself who goes for what she wants (and she wants Matthew as a husband!) Hehe there was a cute incident where Daisy was with Matthew trying to free a goose caught in a fishing line. My girl Daisy loves geese, felt like it's a sign!

I think Daisy might be my favorite of the Wallflowers. She's sweet and dreamy and certainly likes to do things her own way. Matthew is a family friend who her father would like her to marry. It's actually refreshing that she sees him again after all these years and they're attracted to each other. She doesn't want to get married against her will but she is intrigued by him.
