Spiritually, it's a DNF but I'm still listening for 10-30 minutes before bed every night. I have not absorbed a single detail. Did I already say in the other update just read Oliver Sacks? It's just not gripping me.

It’s just not that good. If this wasn’t an audiobook, I would have DNFed. The audiobook narrator is also a tough listen. I want the confidence to have a speech impediment and pursue a career in narration.

Cheap trick in science writing now to go on Google scholar and summarize things kids in a Psych 101 class would use in an essay. Just read Oliver Sacks for science writing if you actually want to like science.

It’s mid… Just read Oliver Sacks instead. Some parts are interesting but it’s “just okay” so far. I would just read a different science book. (Commenting as a neuroscience major and I’ve read a lot on this, so may be biased!)

Using this as my bedtime audiobook and it’s effective. Soothing voice.
