I am struggling with this. I can’t point my finger on it, but it might have something to do with how it seems like a fifty shades AU monster coffee-shop fanfic. The main character as well… she is such a grumpy contrarian for most of it. And the way Eden just keeps being a ray of sunshine makes me think they are not on the same wavelength at all

First time reading a book written in second person singular. This will take some time to get used to

Someone put this book in their top three next to the Night Huntress series, so I knew I’d found someone whose recommendations I’d need to heed.

So far so good, the 2nd pov was distracting tho ngl
