One chapter to go. Fascinating read, although realistically it is only documenting patient experiences for a certain groups of people. Those tht went to certain sanitariums, although it does present information in general.

Yes, this is a rabbit trail that runs right off of John Green's "Everything is Tuberculosis." So far, I've discovered the early remedies of New England "invalids" including the Voyage of Health for men and the "Stay at Home and make arrangements for your children for when your dead' for women.
