Status Updates From Shakespeare Saved My Life: ...

I was so moved by this book the first time I read it that I often find myself thinking about it. Today was one of those days, so I got it on libby and recommended it my mom get it, too. The minds that go wasted inside those cages! The handcuffs and concrete and vile way we treat prisoners is really hard for me this time around, but I'm so totally in love with the teacher for bringing Shakespeare to this young man.

Really moving and inspiring. It is taking me back to my time working in a prison. The wasted potential always amazed me, and sometimes broke me.
