This flies by really fast. The back cover says "unusually compelling" and I agree, it's hard to put it down, I just want to know what's next

Almost classic noir except the deeply wounded and mysterious main character with a secret is a woman and not a man, which I love! The blend of dystopian sci-fi and police procedural is interesting, haven't read anything similar yet and I read the first 60 pages without taking a single breath. We're off to a good start!
