Status Updates From Your Body is Not Your Body

It’s very interesting to me that so many trans/non-binary people (including myself) have like such a solid grasp of the parasite metaphor in new and different ways because we explicitly understand what it means to have something feel weird in your body. Whether that be something that is already a part of you, growing inside of you, or just society’s expectations of your body. We all get it.
