Status Updates From Miss Muriel and Other Stories

I notice that the young girl's perspective and inner dialogue happens in ruin on sentences. Whereas the adults in her life speak in a different rhythm. Maybe I'm drawing a conclusion too soon. I think it's funny that she states she "doesn't know her aunt well" and then proceeds to ramble off things that many people don't know about their relatives.
