I like how I'm currently reading a philosophyal existential classic, a fantasy and a romance manhwa at the same time😋

finished hamin/somang’s arc and i cried so much
frfr my favorite arc
so realistic and amazing at portraying their emotions
i literally couldn’t stop crying at the last five chapters like brah
idk what to even say bruh evetythjt was just so beautiful and just somang consoling jaemin was so comforting, so bittersweet, and just so much to me

(cont) youth a lot, i think it did a very good job at portraying the confusing navigation of love, friendship, and school life, from the way the characters communicated with one another to the way they dove into novel scenarios without preparation, welcoming whatever life throws at them
the manhwa did good at touching on other aspects of life, too, instead of focusing solely on romance, which i do appreciate (cont)

the character motivations and thoughts and feelings were all very clear and seeing their progression of their romance felt natural and realistic
i loved the comparison of jaemin to the fleeting feelings of a new spring versus the different, unexpected realities of jinyeong’s groundedness
and blunt contribution towards their tumultuous relationship
as the manhwa referenced (cont)

review for this arc:

super cute and whimsy and joyful! i loved all of the characters and how distinct each one of them were. the romance was also really nicely set up, even if it was a corny ahh fake dating trope
the romantic tension in some scenes was good too and this manhwa is bustling so many with characters and scenes and events it feels like a movie in my head, like i can hear and(cont)
