Lady Macbeth seems to be quite the malicious lady.

And here I am again, surprised by how much Shakespeare has permeated our culture.

Epic Indie's song Bring Me Back to Life quotes the three witches from Macbeth. I wonder if they did it on purpose?

This is so fun i need to read Shakespeare more each year.

i should try to read 20 more today, but i can't anymore, the manga is just too white and bright on my eyes.

The Arabic translation notes that critiques say the hecate scene is not written by shakespeare, and i feel it is true, it was actually the easiest scene to read in the entire play, i ll stop now, my eyes hurt me, i think i ll go make new glasses tomorrow.

I love how the penciler, started out making Macbeth look noble and kind and gentle, and after the murder he made him look harsh, with stern face, and stern look in his eyes, sorry btw, i ll probably spam status updates now, because most of these will be used in the review, or else i won't remember anything at all 😂🤷‍♂️

It's really funny seeing pretty anime illustrations of Macbeth, then checking the real Macbeth and finding him ugly xD anime makes everyone pretty, someone needs to make an anime picture of me 🤷‍♂️

Thoughts of evil men, all while thinking of heaven and hell, is really weird, by their line of thinking, by their faith, they know their ill doing, deserves divine punishment, but still they go on with it, he quite literally just said that he is sending Banquo to heaven, what about you, don't you want to go to heaven?

These are the words of the assassinator of the king to describe the same king he murdered, there are those who would kill you, while writing poetry of how great you are.

Did Shakespeare know he is a genius when he was alive? Did people realize it?

so tired today, but 90 pages a day and 7 days left, should be really doable.
i feel Shakespeare doesn't like women too much, it's really weird, what triggers your annoyance on the portrayal of women.
because here it pretty much portrayed his wife, is what lead him to regicide, and she is not pleasant at all, which is really weird, she is not killing people for life like him to come off as despicable as that.

This has turned dark so fast, dude was just acting like he lives for the king to prosper, and instantly he is thinking of how to get over the prince to become king himself. (and Yes i just called Macbeth Dude)

i just literally went backwards in this, i got an arabic translation of the play, to understand what is happening, and even with translation efforts, i was missing a lot, 8 days are left, i don't really wanna dnf this, but it's a chance to finish 2 books at the same time, see visuals, make sense of archaic English text, and write an Arabic review, i didn't in a long long time.

This is hard to read, when will i memorize archaic English 😭
Why are you writing a Shakespeare manga with Shakespeare's own style.
I guess a lot of people will read this and enjoy it, but not me, we will probably land on 3 stars when this is finished, i am finally free to read it.

I will be reading this way too slow, it's 300 pages huge, but NetGalley allows only reading this via some adobe program, so i have to read it on computer and i never read anything on computer, it's too distracting with internet on at all times.
But i got a feeling this will be fun anyway, i might not be able to read real Shakespeare this year, but i ll read Asian Shakespeare!
