Status Updates From Development Through the Lif...

1 chapter to go & the semester ends! 🥹

It’s physical & cognitive development in adolescence during puberty week, the greasiest/stickiest week with the MOST terms and phases and reactions ever. Makes me want to be a little more compassionate when I turn my hose on them for trampling my lawn with their tickin ’n their tockin’ n their identifying as a tomato plant this week.

Empathy, sympathy, apathy, & antipathy: aka the average evening if you’re a Pisces. 🥴

Brain development in ages 2-5: advances in fine/gross motor skills, preoperational thought, metacognition, information processing & language development. 🤓

We are @ the terrible 2’s: temperament, attachment, self-awareness, & self-control. The beginnings of if your kid is going to be a dick or not. 🙃

Still shocked that we would be talking about kids so much in developmental psychology, ugh. 🤣
