Status Updates From A Certain Hunger

I think the general plot is interesting but the overly flowery language is frustrating me at times. The MC is a narcissist obviously but there’s something about how uppity the writing is that I don’t loveeeee? However I do like the plot so far

"You've come to far to not see the sausage gets made"

But am really really struggling to finish this book. No more cannibalism stories for me aftee this.
