I’ve never once been this far into a book and the side characters (Adam and persephone) are the only was who actually are interesting. I love these characters especially harry because we got so much of him the first book, but what the heck. There hasn’t been anything really to help contribute to the romance other than harry talking about how he wants her but can’t because of something stupid. 😑

Harry smiled at her. He rather enjoyed being the answer to a prayer.
“Sometimes, I think heaven has to hit us over the head to get our attention.
Adam regularly takes on that duty himself.”

Harry was crammed into the uncomfortable corner of a traveling coach before dinnertime. Not one of his fellow passengers smiled or greeted him.
But, then, he had neither smiled nor greeted them. He found he had no
desire to make conversation and no reason to smile.
😭😭😭😭
Poor Harry!!!

“Harry,” Adam said authoritatively.
“Yes, Adam,” Harry said.
“Get out.” Harry laughed and rose from his seat, moving quickly to the door.
He glanced back before stepping out of the room only to be greeted with the
sight of Adam pulling Persephone into his arms. Lucky dog.
Adam was married to his lady love.
Harry was, apparently, in trouble with his.
