I think this is going to be such an emotional read from now on. I spent 99% of the first book uncomfortable (including Sail, I didn’t find him as nice as Auren did - his protectiveness was still based on abuse) and I am so excited to see Auren heal. The fact that Slade already did SO much (that she’s can’t understand is safety yet) in the mere few hours is insane.

I’m so ready for Slade to heal Auren after everything she’s been through. I know it’s going to be a journey but I’m excited to read it. I hope he teaches her how to fight and gets her strong, I would love to read that character arc.
