Status Updates From Operation Snare Drum: A WWI...

I was enjoying the apparent realism of this text until the "gorgeous SS spy" drugs and kidnaps the American submarine captain's wife, gets her on a small spy plane that flies her off to be held hostage on an SS-controlled ship... too bad spy movie stuff... Oh well, realism is sinking like a torpedoed ship. But I will keep reading anyway... I'm not above a little James Bond-like story.

USS Bull Shark is asea! Having a little trouble keeping track of all the characters and the language seems a little too contrived; swearing like a sailor aside, I don't this Cook needed to be so blunt in his use of expletives and dehumanizing language. I am not sure how long I will be able to stomach this language. Seems over-the-top to me.
