Glen and Glenda bought a carnival. This book can't get any ridiculous. But within the ridiculousness, there is a tender tale of a woman trying to complete her transition but the burden of her male identity becomes a necessary part of her survival. I am sure Ed Wood had a lot of fun writing this one.

Trashy fun! Might have to read something extra literary to make up for this quick pulpy snack.

"Glenda felt sure this little man would retire to the men's room in the basement for several moments as soon as he could get clear of his elevator; so she kissed him quickly on his high forehead, leaving a big red smear of lipstick. She felt sure her kiss, and it's remaing imprint would help him later in what he would have to do."

I can't believe it, but this book kicks butt.
